  1. Hello. I came across your comment about Cesky Krumlov on Trip Advisor. We (myself, my 19 year old son and 24 year old daughter) are spending 8 days, mid-June, in Prague, including a day trip to Terezinstaadt. We are considering including an overnight to Cesky Krumlov. I am curious whether you consider the village to be so touristic that you would recommend against it? We are fine with a fair number of tourists, but not if it is so overcrowded that the streets are full, etc..

    1. Cesky Krumlov is touristic but stunning. There will always be day tripping crowds from 10 am to 4 pm and the small town can get crowded but if u spend a night like you plan to then u can see Krumlov at it’s best after 6pm when it’s beautifully lit up and early morning before 9 am. I would recommend staying a night in Krumlov and never recommend doing a day trip from Prague.
      Hope that helps!

  2. Do I have permission to use your photo of inside of the Santa Margherita church in my personal photobook? It is beautiful and the only photo I have of our visit was not very good. Thanks

  3. I’m planning a trip to the Dolomites in the first week of September and had a quick question for those familiar with the Seceda area.
Can anyone please share details about the hike from the Seceda ridgeline down to the Col Raiser cable car station? Specifically:

What is the approximate distance (around 2 km?)
How much time does it typically take?
Is there a well-defined and maintained pathway throughout the route?
Is the trail manageable for someone looking for a relatively easy to moderate walk?

Any insights, tips, or recent experiences would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

    1. The trail is well marked but much longer , around 7 km going via pieralonga hut…It’s a downhill path which i would consider easy to moderate..
If you are relatively fit and wear proper footwear it is done in 2-3 hours considering that you will stop to take in the views and photos intermittently..
      Hope that helps
